For us, traveling and food belongs together. Traveling means to experience a country. We want to meet local people, take part in traditional celebrations, learn about the history and most importantly taste local food.

When we’re not traveling we feel like we need to experience exotic food from time to time and dream away. We found a place where we can do this in Bruges – Brazi’s! If you follow our recommended way through Bruges and you feel a bit hungry, this is the place to go!

The moment you enter Brazi’s you feel like you took the fast lane to Brazil. We haven’t been to Brazil yet but that’s how we imagine the most beautiful places there, just much bigger ? – it’s warm, it’s green, it’s colourful!

When you get close this small take-away sandwich shop, the Brazilian music already makes your day. The friendly shopowners do the rest to make you feel welcomed. Adriana and Adenis are spreading out happiness and if you tell Adenis where you are from and which language you speak he will do his best to serve you in your own language.
Altough it’s mainly a take-away shop, there are also about eight places where you can sit down and enjoy the athmosphere.

You can come here at any time of the day. In the morning you can enjoy your coffee, tea or chai latte with a croissant, muffin or a piece of cake.
For the extra boost of antioxidants enjoy a colourful Açai Bowl.
If you prefer it salty, taste the typical Brazilian Cheeseballs. To dive more into the Brazilian taste we recommend the Brazilian Combo, be surprised about what you will get 😉
Make sure to try the Crêpe on a stick, a typical brazilian streetfood which can be eaten in sweet or salty way.

Slow Coffee

For lunch or a snack inbetween we recommend their sandwiches which are really special. You can choose between white, brown or seeded bread and a huge variety of fillings. There’s something for everyone! Fish lovers, cheese lovers, meat lovers and plant lovers can choose tuna, salmon, brie, gouda, goatcheese, ham, roastbeef, veggies and so much more…

If you prefer to eat something warm you can choose panini, hot dog, empanadas, soup or pasta. Make sure you try Adenis special hot dog.

And don’t forget about dessert! A lemon-, a ricecake or a brazilian caramel flan (pudim de leite) will satisfy your sweet tooth.

You find the Brazi’s in the Sint-Jakobsstraat 2, 8000 Brugge, that’s just a stone’s throw away from the big market. It’s open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
